Slooh A-Team

The Slooh A-Team was a group of of Asteroid and Comet observers who use The Online Telescope of Slooh.com to track and report on Near-Earth asteroids and other interesting objects. This image shows the Potentially Hazardous Asteroid (PHA) 2021 NY1 in October 2021.

This website provided access to information, tools and tutorials related to the A-Team. Since mid 2026, the A-Team Workspace (where members could exchange observations and information) no longer exists and, as such the A-Team no longer operates. However, this website continues to offer some information to those who continue to chase asteroids.

This is a visual representation of the workings of the model of planetary motion developed by Claudius Ptolemy in around 150AD. It is based on the principles of Greek philosophy that demanded uniform motion in a circle because “only that kind of motion is compatible with the nature of the Divine Beings, whereas irregularity is foreign to them.”
